Resumen

Marcus Christoph trabajó como redactor en el diario Argentinisches
Tageblatt desde 2009 hasta el cierre en 2023. En su presentación realiza
un balance de su paso por la redacción del Tageblatt. Lo más destacado
para el diario fue la concesión del premio a los medios de comunicación
“Diálogo por Alemania”. Christoph también menciona las dificultades a
las que se enfrentó el periódico: el descenso del número de lectores y de
las cifras de publicidad, así como la falta de continuidad en la redacción.
Cuando Stefan Kuhn falleció a principios de 2023, el editor Juan Alemann
decidió cerrar el periódico.

My experience as an Editor at the
Argentinisches Tageblatt

Abstract
Marcus Christoph worked as an editor at the newspaper Argentinisches
Tageblatt from 2009 until the newspaper closed in 2023. In this text, he
reflects on his time in the Tageblatt newsroom. The newspaper’s most
notable achievement during that period was receiving the media award
“Dialog for Germany.” Christoph also mentions the challenges the paper
faced: the decline in readership and advertising revenue, as well as the lack
of continuity in the editorial staff. When Stefan Kuhn passed away in early
2023, publisher Juan Alemann, decided to close the newspaper.
