Resumen
El artículo se enfoca en la actividad de Ernesto Alemann como director
del periódico Argentinisches Tageblatt en las décadas de 1930 y 1940.
Realiza una sucinta caracterización del diario durante ese período y centra
su atención en tres cuestiones: sus informes sobre una “quinta columna”
preparada para una “invasión nazi” en la Argentina, su postura ante los
golpes de estado de 1930 y 1943, y el impacto a largo plazo de las denuncias
sobre la infiltración nacionalsocialista en el país.

Some notes on the Journalistic Work
of Ernesto Alemann in the Newspaper
Argentinisches Tageblatt

Abstract

The article focuses on Ernesto Alemann’s activities as director of the
newspaper Argentinisches Tageblatt in the 1930s and 1940s. It briefly
describes the newspaper during this period and concentrates on three
issues: the Tageblatt’s reports on the “fifth column” prepared for a “Nazi
invasion” of Argentina, his position on the 1930 and 1943 coups d’état, and
the long-term impact of the denunciations of National Socialist infiltration in
the country.
